Bård Solheim Andersen holds an MSc in Business Administration and has spent his entire career in the energy sector, first working on issues related to oil markets, but mainly within the Nordic power market, on which he possesses comprehensive expertise. In recent years he has run his own consultancy firm advising on price risk management in power portfolios, based on proprietary quantitative methodology for trading in financial derivatives. From 2025, Bård has been at Vista Analyse as an associated partner. His main focus is on projects related to power production and consumption, storage and flexibility, power grid and related regulations and framework.
